best way to queue jobs in avid?
I'm pretty sure avid doesn't have a way to queue jobs like after effects. So what are people's work arounds for this, i need to export 5 layers of green screen each layer is looking like it'll take 40 minutes, so i'd rather not sit by my computer for 5 hours waiting to render each layer individually. I'm thinking i should export reference files or avid codec .mov's and then put them in a program that does queue, which program is best for that?
thx, jayson
Re-install XP Pro – all the sudden AMA 7D files play flawlessly
So I decided to do a complete re-install of XP Pro SP3, and re-install the trial of MC5.0.
Randomly, AMA linked 7D files play 100%.
WAAAT
However, the footage was shot in black and white IN the camera, I wonder if this is the reason. This is a 1080 23.976p timeline. Does this mean I'm going to edit using AMA? Heck no. But this iiis weird look at my system specs how is this possible!
Before I did the re-insall, playing back 5d/7d files was a joke. Now I can view them in Green Green, and can actually do fades and color correction with them in yellow/yellow. I can take 60p files and drop them into the timeline, do 100% speed (instead of the 250% default) and play smoothly.
BTW I also managed to fix my 'DAE' error by uninstalling Digidesign Drivers and Avid Audio Drivers, not recommended in many obvious reasons. But now, cross-fades of music (44,100 Hz) in a 48,000Hz timeline, with crossfades, create a very nasty jitter effect. But when Rendered, no Jitter. HMMMMmmmm…
