Capture problem

So I mistakenly captured a bunch of HD footage at SD resolution. It worked fine, just looked like crap. So now I'm trying to re-capture… actually, I'm just starting from scratch… this time in HD.

The video is on miniDV tapes and I'm using a Sony HRV-M15U deck.

So I've got the fire wire hooked up and the Capture Tool recognizes I have a deck and the deck controls make the deck work, and the video plays to a separate monitor I have connected to the deck.

However, I'm getting no image in my composer window and after I hit Capture I get an error message saying "Exception: Audio/Video is no longer coming into the system"

Can anyone help? What am i doing wrong?

Thanks in advance for any help!
