Deko 3000/Hybrid Fading Text On

Hey all,

For the life of me I can't figure out how to animated text on in Deko 3000.

Basically, I have a lower 3rd that animates on and 3 replaceable text fields that I simply want to fade up via opacity after the lower 3rd finishes animating.

I feel like it has to be incredibly easy to do this but for some reason I can't figure it out.

If someone could just show/tell me how to reveal the text via a simple opacity fade up I'd be ever so grateful.

Thanks guys.
David

Capturing Composite over SDI mojo

Hi all,

Please bear with me as I'm an FCP editor jumping over to Avid.  I'm currently trying to capture composite input through my sdi mojo and while I can do it, the image I'm capturing flickers in the top 1/4 of the screen.  I know it's not the output because I've tested it on a monitor.

it looks like 5 solid bars that appear at the top of the image and they seem to occur every other frame.

My project settings seem to be correct, NTSC 30i.  And I'm capturing from VHS.

Anybody have any suggestions?
