Keyframes don’t stick

Hi all,

I feel I'm going crazy: 3D warp effect. I select a keyframe, change parameters. Select another, change parameters. The first keyframe now has the same values as the second. All the keyframes seem to update to the same values as the most recent. Is there a new (more complicated!) workflow? Am I missing some step or is it broken?

MC5.0.3.4

Can link but cannot play Canon XF?

Hey,

We're trying to ingest canon XF footage into avid. I've tried this on 2 macs running 4.0.5, 1 PC running 4.0.5 and 1 mac running 5.0.3.

I've installed the canon XF plugin from the canon site, I can link to AMA and the clips appear in the bin. The clips say they are: CANON XF MPEG-2 422 50Mbits (1080p/25) – great. When I try to play them however, I get the error: Exception: Cannot access the AMA media stream plugin to play this clip.

Here is the AMA console log:

Link To AMA Volume -> /Users/avid6/Desktop/Test Clips/XF305/

MVP Used:[ Plugin Name = MVP_CanonXF Vendor Name = CANON INC. Version = 1.0 ]

MSP Used:[ Plugin Name = MXF Plug-in Vendor Name = Avid Technology, Inc. Version = 1.1 ]

AMA link to volume /Users/avid6/Desktop/Test Clips/XF305 was successful.

Here is my AMA_ListPlugins result:

——————————————————————-

PLUGIN NAME                  VENDOR NAME              VERSION

——————————————————————-

MSP_IkegamiGFCamMXF           Avid Technology, Inc.    Version 3.2

MXF Plug-in                   Avid Technology, Inc.    Version 1.1

MSP_PanasonicP2MXF            Avid Technology, Inc.    Version 2.1

MSP_SonyXDCAMEXMP4            Sony Corporation         Version 1.3005

MVP_CanonXF                   CANON INC.               Version 1.0

MVP_IkegamiGFCam              Avid Technology, Inc.    Version 3.2

MVP_MSP_QuickTime             Avid Technology, Inc.    Version 1.0

RED R3D Plug-In (R3DSDK v3.1) Avid Technology, Inc.    Version 1.1

MVP_MSP_SonyXDCAM             Avid Technology, Inc.    Version 3.1

MVP_PanasonicP2               Avid Technology, Inc.    Version 2.1

MVP_SonyXDCAMEX               Sony Corporation         Version 1.3005

As you can see, unlike the Panasonic and Sony XDCAM plugins, I have a Canon MVP but not an MSP. Should there be one?

Also, if I directly import the MXF from the XF folder structure, AVID imports it as XDCAM. Why?

Can anyone shed some light on this?

Thanks.
