AMA sequence – cant transcode nor consolidate

AMA sequence – cant transcode nor consolidate

Have tried all possible means but it just wont happen. Either for transcode "all clips were skipped during consolidate/transcode…" or then it just consolidates my one and only imported clip (audio tone).

Have tried audio and video separately, no luck. I'm new to ama, but from what I've researched, this seems unusually difficult… I can transcode individual clips, but I think I will die if I have to go to each clip separately – transcode and then replace manually to export the required aaf.

Decomposing the seq doesn't work either.

The footage was in .tod format converted into dnxhd120 trough mpegstreamclip.

I'm using the trial version, could that be the issue? Also… before linstalling the trial MC version I tried to install my old xpress pro not realizing that snow leopard doesn't like it. Since then I get error messages when starting up – about 10 files in system/library/extension apparently are now installed improperly. Have not dared to delete them as I can see they were there before I tried installing the dang xpress. blaah.

Any ideas…?

Many thanks

MC5 doesn’t recognize Sony DCR-PC4E

Hello!

We're running a MC5 on a Dell Vostro Core I7, Windows 7 prof. 64-bit (I know, only HPs are Avid-Notebooks…).

The program to works fine with MXF files capured on another AVID, but when I try to capture directly from my Sony DCR PC4E camcorder the MC doesn't recognize the cam. I already

configurated the Deck –> Firewire on OHCI – Generic DVBasic Device-PAL,

yes, it`s IEEE 1394 under Device,

I tried Check Decks,

auto-config,

restarted the MC with Cam switched out/on,

rebooted the Computer with Cam switched out/on

and tried all the 3 Firewire drivers on my system.

Windows regognize the cam and everythingworks fine with windows moviemaker.

I don`t know what else I can do….TNX a lot for assistance!!!
