Stored render files and cleaning up?

Stored render files and cleaning up?

Perhaps I haven't looked hard enough for the answer to this one, but where are render files stored, and is there a need to clean up / delete them?

When I render a clip (annoyingly it has to ask every time) I select the drive my media are stored on, and not the system drive, but I have a fear that creating multiple effect, changing and deleting them may end up filling the drive with render files.

Do the render files automatically delete themselves when you delete or change and re-render an effect or do you need to manually clean up?  If the latter is the case, how do I do this?

Re-creating old video effect

In the ~50's B/W TV-shows there was an inherent problem with the video cameras that if a highlight was bright enough it would invert into black.

I might as well want to emulate the slowness of the camera tube giving this streaking effect in bright motion objects.

I'd like to use this effect preferably using MC5/Boris-FX native library of fx.

Is this possible?

I miss my old Nevicon camera tubes….

Create Audio-driven Effects with BCC 7 AE’s Beat Reactor Technology
In this video tutorial, Kevin P. McAuliffe takes a look at Boris Continuum Complete 7 AE’s new Beat Reactor technology. Beat Reactor is a new BCC 7 AE filter that lets you sample specific bands of audio from a clip and uses the sampled audio levels to drive effect parameters. In addition to being available as a standalone BCC 7 AE filter, the new Beat Reactor technology has been added as a built-in feature for many other BCC 7 AE filters. Beat Reactor makes it easier to generate audio-driven effects such as adding a pulsing light, a glow, or even an image wipe that follows along with the beat of an audio track.
