Symphony 6 slows down in CC mode

Just installed Symphony 6 on full Avid spec Z800

Only 6GB RAM/Nvidia 4800/dual quad proc. etc.

Worked fine with ver 5

Have now installed Windows 7, Artist Color and still use Wacom Intuos 3 or 4

Now very slugish as soon as we go into CC mode – 90% of our work

Tried disabling Artist Color, but no improvement.

Any ideas?

MC6 and BM Deck link warning: Don’t use audio scrub

MC6 and BM Deck link warning: Don’t use audio scrub

Just want to get it out there because we couldn't find any help anywhere.

If anyone is trying to use blackmagic's decklink with MC 6.

Here's what we finally found out:

When you use audio scrub (caps lock), everything slows down and Avid will crash.

When you go out of trim mode (clicking gray bar) and into color correct you get error messages.

Also when you use decklink:

The audio tool shows all sixteen channels when working in stereo, the segment mode arrow dissapears sometimes while working.

There are a lot of other issues with 6,

but these are things that dissapear when we uninstall the 3 party I/O software.

Hopefully this was helpfull.
