Apogee Ships Symphony I/O Mic Preamp Module
Apogee Electronics is now shipping the 8-Channel Mic Preamp Module ($1,995) for Symphony I/O. The 8-Channel Mic Preamp Module upgrades the functionality of existing Symphony I/O line inputs, as Symphony I/O users now have the option of adding eight mic preamps, four Hi-Z instrument inputs, and eight digitally assignable inserts for the all-in-one Mac-based recording solution.

Wireless First, Clair Global Provide Audio for CMT Artists of the Year Show
In mid-December, the Country Music Television (CMT) held its Artists of the Year celebration honoring five country music artists—Taylor Swift, Jason Aldean, Lady Antebellum, Brad Paisley, and Kenny Chesney—with an evening of live music at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena. As in past years, CMT hired Wireless First, a Clair Global Company, to simultaneously provide live sound reinforcement and broadcast sound for the telecast, along with RF equipment and expertise.
