Avid Project Templates

For an upcoming project I need to create a new project each day with a common bin and folder layout, and with a bunch of imported bins from a common project.

Dylan's Templater

It's a simple windows application. You create a template project, set up how you want each new project to start. Select that project in The Templater, type in a new project name and click 'Create Project' and bingo, a new project with everything that was in the template.

I've only briefly tested it, but it certainly seems to work as it should. If it's something you could use, feel free to download it and let me know what you think. If there's any bugs I'll try and squash them quickly, but I'm about to embark on 16 days solid of editing on a daily sports highlights show, so it could be a little while.

The latest version is 1.2.1 and is available from the link above. Please feel free to post in this thread if you have a feature request or encounter a bug.

Version 1.2.1 has fixed a bug with projects that have names longer than 18 characters
