Activating MC6

I purchased MC 5.5 on 11/15/11. I installed 5.5, activated it, deactivated it, but cannot get MC6 to activate. The versioner does not seem to do anything. It does not populate the Activation ID field and all the Activation codes that I have from AVID are 5 groups of 5 but the MC6 only allows 5 groups of 4. Cannot talk to AVID without contract. HELP!
