Stereo – is switching from 2 to 1 track possible?
I have looked for an answer to this – without much success at the moment (that I can understand, that is…)
When I create aned import SmartSound Music (eg), it seems to come in as a stereo file on separate tracks. Video stereo is on one track. Music from other sources seems to vary. When importing, I cannot seem to determine whether it will be coming in as a single or dual track (but I must look into the options available again – I've probably missed a setting or something there).
Thing is, having imported stereo and put it on the timeline as 2 tracks, how do I switch the two tracks back to one stereo track?
(I have tried several searches of the help file and manual … but unless one knows the MC language fluently, which I don't yet, chances are I'm looking for the wrong thing!)
Douglas: If stereo track manipulation is a possibility, one of your Tutes would be cool – again, I see nothing relevant in the published index of the 200…
